Ropes & Gray asset management partners Jessica Marlin has been named to Private Fund CFO Magazine’s well regarded Legal Rising Stars List as – yes you guess it – a rising star.
The list recognises individuals under the age of 40 considered to be rising stars working within the legal industry on matters involving private funds and private equity.
Jessica highlighted two required qualities, “differentiation and adaptability – I think we will need to be able to differentiate ourselves from other lawyers, which requires specialization, while at the same time easily adapting to the next trend, which requires a broader skill set.
As part of this, we will need to be able to think creatively and to anticipate in a way that AI cannot.”
