KfW Capital said Germany’s Growth Fund completed its investment period at the end of September 2026 after committing more than €1 billion since investment began in 2023.
The fund committed to 46 venture capital funds and made five direct co-investments in scale-ups.
KfW said the fund and the funds it backs have financed more than 550 technology companies, including 28 valued at $1 billion or more.
Around 70 per cent of the fund’s capital came from private institutional investors, alongside the German federal government and KfW Capital as anchor investors.
KfW Capital designed the fund and acts as investment intermediary and adviser, while Universal Investment Gruppe manages it.
