According to Invest Europe the CEE zone has achieved record VC investment in 2022.

Venture capital investment in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) reached a new record of €821 million in 2022, a 13% increase on the previous year.

The number of deals also increased, with 451 companies receiving funding. The largest segment for fundraising was venture capital, accounting for 44% of total capital commitments. Buyouts increased strongly to 64 in total, a record for the region.
