As a vital member of the Brand and Content Marketing team, the Community Manager will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and will spearhead the execution of our community strategies to drive the growth. engagement and positive sentiment of Hutch’s game communities.
Grow and nurture the community for one of our FTP mobile racing titles.
Execute the community and social media strategy and work with the Head of Social to develop this.
Take responsibility for player communication via all community and social channels (Discord, Forums, Social Media, Blogs)
Generate engaging social and community campaigns with clear objectives and measurable KPIs. Write creative copy and create clear asset briefs to support your campaigns, and report back on results to the wider team
Proactively seek dialogue with our players, inform, listen and prepare the community’s feedback and deliver input to the game and marketing creative key stakeholders.
Establish an efficient and scalable strategy for moderation to ensure our communities are friendly and collaborative across all channels
Be the conduit between the game team and players and work closely with key stakeholders to help develop new game features that are designed around the community’s preferences and play-patterns.
Execute strategic communications and delivery of production initiatives to drive community engagement (Hutch TV, live-streaming, events, contests, surveys, etc).
Own regular reporting of the impact of key releases and other initiatives on community sentiment.
Support player research initiatives providing insights from within the game communities.
Your Skills & Experience:
Advanced knowledge of the Social Media and Community landscape, including newly emerging platforms.
Experience using social media listening, publishing and analytics tools (e.g. Spreadfast, Linkfluence, Sprout Social, etc).
Excellent written and verbal communication ability, able to communicate clearly and precisely to our community and internal stakeholders
Knowledge of measuring success on social and community platforms and an understanding of how this could tie back to wider business goals
Able to gather and share community feedback internally in an energetic and inclusive manner, even when dealing with challenging feedback.
Strong problem solving and organisational abilities
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in Community / Social Media Management, Communications or Marketing.Experience with an established games company is ideal but we’d also be interested if you’ve got a proven track record outside of the games industry.
