The Digital Marketing & Media department is responsible for optimizing development and driving performance of customer acquisition strategies across all brands and products that our company represents. We are a collaborative and competitive company that works hard and fast to perform and maximize the revenue potential for our products, partners and the company.
What you’ll do
The Head of Paid Acquisition will be responsible for maximising paid media strategies and activity across several publishing brands and product categories. You will have the support of a paid media team to help drive the day-to-day activation across all paid acquisition channels. This is new role to the business reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, on a rapidly growing performance team specializing in affiliate marketing. More specifically, you will:
Work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing, as well as key commercial stakeholders in order to align campaign objectives and prioritize workflow.
Act as the senior point of contact for ideation, execution and management of paid acquisition campaigns
Lead the paid media team, and help manage digital campaigns across various paid acquisition channels, including: Display, Search, Social, Mobile, Native, etc…
Utilise bid management and campaign optimization tools to help drive KPIs
Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid initiatives
Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing tools, trends and techniques
Co-ordinate implementation of learnings, know-how, optimisation techniques, tactics and technologies
Mentoring team members to develop their expertise
Regularly test new strategies, platforms and tactics
Assist in the development and implementation of repeatable process to achieve business targets and continued growth
What you’ll bring
Relevant experience in digital marketing
Prior experience leading a high performing digital marketing team either in-house, or at a specialist agency
Demonstrable success in a prior role – growing revenue
Expert level knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook and Display Advertising
A proven track record managing senior stakeholders, communicating technical subjects clearly
A data driven marketing mind – able to interpret complex data sets and comfortable with designing experiments to prove hypothesis
Advanced understanding of campaign automation including bid management, dynamic creatives and utilising audience data
Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and the wider Google Marketing Platform
Practical knowledge of affiliate tracking systems and technologies such as Voluum, ads bridge, etc.. applying best practice to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
Fluency in German, Dutch, Spanish (or any other European language is a plus)
Fluent in English
