To be successful in this role, you must combine the art of analytical thinking with the art of design to create both usable and useful products for both our customers and respective internal stakeholders.
You must possess a strong set of visual design fundamentals, a good sense of web and app design, superb craftsmanship, and an acute attention to details.
Knowing the difference between what looks good, what feels good, and what you think is good, in terms of design, will give you a great head start.
Responsibilities:
Analyze customer, business, and product needs and requirements with product owners and other related stakeholders. Design layouts, wireframes, and mock-ups to assess product viability and user experience. Designs & tirelessly advocates for simple, intuitive user experience/interface. Collaborates effectively with team members, product owners, and other project stakeholders. Contributes to the success of the BreederDAO Brand System by ensuring that the development of design components is consistent and coherent throughout different customer channels and touchpoints. Ensures the technical feasibility of all components that can be shared with internal teams and third-party partners. Collaborates with other developers in aligning patterns and templates with both internal and consumer-facing products Assists with design reviews and provides constructive feedback to further design iterations. Able to support the design requirements of the Marketing team, on rare occasions.
1-3 years of proven experience as Web Designer, App Designer, Interaction Designer or similar role
Proficient understanding in product design on a Design Thinking level
Advanced knowledge in user interface, web design, and app design and good knowledge in user experience. Proficient knowledge in Figma. Good knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Proficient understanding in web design guidelines, including responsive design. Basic understanding of app development. Basic understanding of animation tools (Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects) and animation files, such as Lottie is a MAJOR plus Basic to Advance knowledge in Design Systems is a MAJOR plus Passionate in designing products and willing to advocate good design is a MAJOR plus Ability to provide cross-support for the marketing team from time-to-time is a BIG plus Basic knowledge of products in the web3 space (wallet integration, staking, etc.) is a MAJOR, MAJOR plus
