Great Ormond Street Hospital supports the work of one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, which cares for more than 300,000 children every year and provides vital funding for clinical services, equipment and medical research and has to raise an annual sum of £100 million, through events, donations and fundraising events to continue providing the best paediatric care.
Deloitte worked with Great Ormond Street to create a faster and more engaging experience for the charity’s supporters, as well as offering more insight for fundraisers, saving time and reducing costs.
The result of focussing on the digital experience is that Great Ormond Street now has a better understanding of its supporters and can engage with them more productively. Meanwhile supporters can now make donations much easily and fundraisers have access to essential data regarding the amount being raised and source of donations allowing them to manage their fundraising goals better.
Although only a relatively small digital evolution for Great Ormond Street this is a great example of how charities can make a proactive step towards healthcare digital transformation and all levels of their organisation.
